Which of these Disney resorts is best for a 5 yr old and toddler?

Did you miss having the second floor view? I was also thinking the first floor patio/garden could be nice as a "ok go play outside!" escape (supervised by mom or dad) during that always hectic morning get-out-the-door hour.

Eh - kind of but not really? We were on the back side of Tokelau so our view was of a path. Going up a floor wouldn't have changed much. We thought we would sit out there after the kids went to bed but we only did that one time. If we had a pool or lagoon view, we probably would have utilized it more but if you just have the standard, ground floor is so convenient.
