Which of the DVC Villas do you like best?

My coworker is a DVC member and might sell me some of his points. I like the location of the Board Walk and Beach Club Villas. Some of the others seem so far removed. Do I want to be close to the action, like BWV and BCV, or is transportation okay from the other resorts? Thanks!

the transportation is fine.

see if he can get you standard view at BWV - that will save you the most money. OKW is cheaper - but not as close.

standard views are only 20% of all the rooms - so they are HARD to get. hard not impossible.

the studios - all the DVC resorts are about the same - OKW has 2 queen beds - the others have queen bed and a double sleeper sofa.

for a 1-bedroom up - OKW is much, much bigger!

The transportation is fine at all the resorts if you ask me, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. And any of the resorts are great to stay at, but I've found that I prefer to be near the action. The Boardwalk and Beach Club both are. I was pleasantly surprised when we stayed at the Beach Club because it's both near the action but kind of set back in a quieter location...my husband loves it there. But for views...Boardwalk all the way!

I know that the studio (with a one bedroom to make it a 2), we had at the BW (sept/Oct) had two queens in it. Are they few and far between with the two queens?

We split a stay between BWV and WL. I figured all the 20 somethings with us would love the Boardwalk with all its clubs, ESPN, etc., and be disappointed after moving to the Lodge, but I was wrong.

They ALL preferred WL! They liked the beach, boats, bikes, the campground activities, proximity to MK, and wildlife. I was flabbergasted.

Are you sure? All of the two bedroom villas at the BW are lock offs, so the studio portion would have to have the queen sized bed and a sleeper sofa. I don't think there are any dedicated two bedrooms at BWV.

Back to the question.

I like BCV the best. Why? Y&BC is my favorite resort, theming, location and pool wise. I mean having morning glories with little hidden Mickey's in them is just my style.

We own at VWL. Don't ask me why.

Oh and I love VB, but that is a different thing.

I have to say Ive stayed at Boardwalk villas and Beach Club Villas and by a long shot Beach Club Villas WIN!!! I felt they were much newer and bigger than boardwalk villas, for some reason I really wasnt pleased with, i just had a weird vibe through the whole trip, i definately missed my Beach Club Villas! So I'd go with them hands down!
