Of course I am hoping to see all the WOW shows, but if kids gets sick, we're too tired, etc... I've seen Fantasmic at DL, but can only imagine it better at the World. I want to know what I should focus on. Can any of you veterans help?

Fantasmic! and Illuminations are a must for me. Illuminations is a wonderful way to end your day at EPCOT as is Fantasmic! in MGM. ::yes::

I voted for Illuminations. All are wonderful, magical, but our family loves Illuminations best. It's so moving and beautiful. I cry every time I see it.

I had not seen any of the shows when we went there, and we saw all of them.

They are all wonderful in there own right, each different, each special. Each on my "must see" list.

But standing there in front of the Castle, watching and hearing Wishes......

I just started crying, and couldn't stop. IMO, it really was that wonderful.

Illuminations is my all time fav. However Fantasmic is pure Disney Magic! But if you have little ones that can't really stand waiting hours for a show, then I would vote for Wishes. It's cute, magical and short!

Have to agree with the wishes people. We saw wishes twice a couple of weeks ago and they are the best fireworks I have ever seen. IMO they don't even compare with the past Fantasy in the Sky ones.
I have seen Illuminations, Fantasmic and Spectro Magic as well and they are also all good.

seeing Spectro then Wishes........young and old alike........ A must see........ IMHO, skip the others.......:D

I agree that Wishes is my favorite. I've seen all the other shows many times, but seeing this fireworks display last month took my breath away.

I know I'm in the Disney fan minority, but I was disappointed with Illuminations this past June. (I'm ducking, please don't throw things at me....) It was different, less fireworks I think, and I just remembered it as being a lot more spectacular in Aug. 1997. (I wish we went to WDW more often....)

Also, while i'm glad we saw Fantasmic for the first time in June, I'm not going to bother to try to see it again on our Jan. trip.

Don't get the idea that I'm not an excited Disney park fan, but these two nighttime shows just did not wow me for some reason this time.

We have never seen Spectromagic or Wishes, but I'm betting that they'll be great! Can't wait!

Doing Fantasmic in DL is so painful! Sitting for two hours outside of New Orleans Square for a prime spot on concrete or standing for an hour for standing viewing......unless they changed since we did this in DL, is terrible! At least, there is festival seating for the crowds and you can sit and do the wave and eat popcorn, etc. while waiting. Sometimes, that can be painful with the heat and humidity in Florida, but nothing like that wait in DL! Also, the show is different than in DL. Same music, but different focus with Pochantas vs. DL's Peter Pan for instance.

Take a break in the afternoon and don't do the "too tired" thing to miss Illuminations, now, either. Kids sick....bring barf bags. Just joking, but all kidding aside, don't be too tired to skip Illuminations. It is incredible, just incredible!

I, unfortunately, have not been able to view Wishes yet, so I can't comment on that. If it is anything like the "Believe" fireworks at DL, they should be spectacular, indeed. Spectromagic should go along with Wishes, so you can watch that also. I, personally, like to do rides during the parade for shorter lines.

So, forget any illness and take naps and do the three. How about that????:earseek: :earseek:
