I want to take them to the movies. DS really wants to see Night at the Museum but I am scared it is too intense for DD3, so I was thinking about Charlotte's Web. Anyone with advice?
Sorry no advice, but I do have a question for you. At what age did you start taking your DD3 to the movies, we just adopted DD she is 2, I know she isn't ready yet. I'm just curious when you started, how it went...

DD was ready a lot earlier than DS was. I think the first movie she saw was Monsters INC...and didn't make it through the whole movie! She was ready at about age 2...now it's never a problem. I make sure to take her to the bathroom right before the movie starts and she doesn't get up again. DS, on the other hand, was a different story. His attention span is very short. He was able to sit through a whole movie at about 3 1/2. I would start off with a movie under 2 hours...maybe 1 1/2 hours- which shouldn't be too hard to find nowadays. Good luck!
I also have a 7 year old DS and a 3 year old DD. I was wondering the same thing about the movies. My DS really wants to see the Museum one but I just think there's too many things that jump out and it's so loud in the theater it would probably make my DD jump! So, I can't wait to take them to see Charlotte's Web!! Both of my kids started going to the movies when they were 2. Just like you, I'd just take them both to the bathroom before the movie and they'd be fine. They're both movie lovers.
