Which mountain for FP?

Which MK mountain should we use a FP on, space, place or big thunder? We're going to do all 3 but we have already agreed on 2 attractions so we can only choose 1 of the 3 mountains and want to know which is best to use a FP on. We're going in August so I'm thinking splash but I've never been before so I don't know which line is usually the longest.

I'd go with Space.

Unless it's going to be really hot. Then I'd do Splash. I hope you can find a really long-range forecast to help.

Generally in order from longest wait to shortest it's normally Space, Thunder, Splash.

If you don't care when you ride them, Splash is normally an easy walk on early in the day and late at night

We've had luck with minimal waits, 20 min or less for space & thunder near closing, so I would suggest splash. You, like everyone else, generally want to ride it when it's hot, the other rides don't matter. Even if you can walk on splash at closing, I don't know if I'd want to be as wet as could be that late.

Do you rope drop? We found space and btmrr a short wait in the early morning. I like fp for splash unless it has gotten better about going down.

What are your other 2 FP for? You may do better time wise if you wait standby for another attraction (unless it is for PPF, A&E, or 7DMT of course!). With it being limited to one choice, I would go with Space.

Just completed FP+ with consent of my 6 y.o.

Her ordering of the rides: Big Thunder, Splash, Space.

Splash is longest of the three rides, and likely the best use of FP+ during an August day.

Space Mountain is indoors too, so air conditioning might feel better than Big Thunder.

In my opinion, Big Thunder is a better thrill than Space. Standby for Space is more fun than Big Thunder, certainly in summer.

Timing of Parades & fireworks might impact my decision too.

Choose wisely.

Use it for Space, at that time of year Splash could be pretty close to empty and BTMRR seems to swallow crowds a lot better.

we have had very good luck riding BTMRR and Splash at RD - multiple times on both in the first hour without waits.

Space, BTM, Splash. Space will typically have the longest waits in the middle of the day. Though Big Thunder can sometimes run close behind.
