Which month for best chance at 7 months?

Planning a Disneyland/Aulani trip for this fall and wondering when is the best chance at getting in at 7 months.

We are wanting a 1 or 2 bedroom villa for Grand Californian for 3-4 nights and then Aulani for the following 6-7 nights.

Looking at going anytime in October-Early December. Dates are flexible but generally plan to check into Aulani on a sat or sunday.

As long as you ar not picky about view and want a 1 or 2BR, your chances at 7 months out at Aulani during the time you specify are good based on what was avaialble in 2015 -- ocean view was always open, standard seldom open, and island garden and pool garden view were usually but not always open (although one or the other was always open).

It is VGC where you are likely to have issues. That you are not seeking a studio raises your chances of getting a room but based on 2015 you face a risk of anywhere from 2 to 4 nights per week being missing at 7 months out during the period you specify.
