Which moderate resort is best for 10 year old kids?

For our upcoming october trip,we were wondering if Port Orleans or Riverside would be best? Our kids will be 9 and 11 and are quite active and fun loving. They've already been to WDW once and weren't affraid of anything.How is the bus system from these resorts? We stayed at ASMO last time and found the transportation to be quite handy.

I guess I would say Riverside is better. It's more Huck Finn feeling. My kids like the food court at riverside better and they really enjoyed crossing the little bridges. Riverside also offers catch and release fishing the kids may enjoy. We just really enjoyed the down home feeling of Riverside. FQ is lovely too, but my parents liked FQ better. For exploring kids - I'd say Riverside.

The Dig Site at CSR is an awesome place for a 9 and 11 yr old. My DD is always talking about the slide. She is 9 and is looking forward to our May trip. They also have the surrey bikes, mice boats and 2 arcades. One of which is right at the main pool area.

CSR has great transportation and offers direct servie to the Boardwalk.

Have to agree with Buzz2001 - CSR is perfect for 9 and 11 year old. The Dig Site is the coolest pool area in WDW - my DD (9) just loved it and was still swimming at 10.30pm most nights! Whereas she wasn't impressed at all with the pool at POFQ - the slide there is mostly for little kids (her evaluation!).

Whatever you decide, have fun!

My 8 and 9 year old last year loved the Dig Site at CSR. As a matter of fact, they would love to go their again. I highly recommend it.

We stayed at CBR for our daughter 10 yr old bday.. We had a waterview.. She had a blast playing on the beach, running with the birds, and skipping rocks. The colors were great! The resort maids were the best!! I have to say it's one of my favorites..
