Which mod with toddler

We did POFQ and loved it. Small resort but well-themed. It was great having the boat option to then Downtown Disney. We had a river view room and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Since it is small, getting back to your room at the end of the day wasn't too overwhelming. And when we were there, the buses were easy and quick.

HTH!

I have a 2 year old, and my pick would be POFQ if your toddler hates being in the stroller (mine does). POFQ is smallest and has the least amount of walking. Also both Port Orleans Resorts are very close to the MK and Epcot.

That being said, if your kid will ride happily in a stroller forever, and you don't mind walking, Caribbean Beach has a super fun kids splash area at the pool with a water slide suitable for an adventurous 2 year old, and the sandy beaches if your 2 year old is into that.

I also vote POFQ. We have only stayed at POR riverside but have walked over to FQ. With the small size, relaxed feel, Disney Springs boat and new splash pad it's a winner.

Thank you! Our TA recommended CSR. We'd love to stay at beach club but it's just too expensive :( sounds like FQ maybe better than CSR? I think she recommended it because we are used to Vegas hotels and she thought CSR was more like a deluxe than the others even though it definitely isn't a deluxe

Beach club is closer to Epcot and Boardwalk. But I think one of the biggest benefits of BC is Stormalong Bay, which I think your 2yo is probably a bit young to enjoy fully. Others might have different experiences, but I think the toddler splash areas at CSR or FQ are probably more than enough for the typical 2yo.

POFQ was the first moderate we stayed in before our family grew to the 5 number and we loved it! It is so compact and the new splash pad area looks fantastic!!! Beach Club pool area is very spread out and I truly think if you want to step up to deluxe and want a smaller more compact resort with splash area, I would consider WL.

We love CSR and so did our little guy at the time. It is a Bigger resort but the bus stops are so frequent that its not a big deal. Buses to the parks are the best we have had at any resort. The foot court is very different and we like that. Rooms are larger than most and the sand beach around the pool is so good for little ones.

POFQ has just opened its own toddler splash area! And beignets in the food court that are made fresh before your eyes!

Beach Club irritates me by not having much counter service and toddlers are not exactly "sit and wait for the waiter" people.

We love CSR for a toddler. The splash area is great, and the pool is a zero entry pool, which I found really helpful when my kids were toddlers.

We also LOVE beach club/yacht club with toddlers. The sandy bottom pool is just perfect for them and being able to walk to epcot is awesome. That said, I'm not so sure it's "worth it"

POFQ is my favorite moderate. I like that it is small and compact. You are close to everything no matter where your room is, which is nice with a toddler. CSR and CBR are both fairly large. POFQ has a new splash area any toddler would love.

POFQ is our home resort and we love it but last nov we stayed at CBR because we got free dining ( there was 8 of us who went) and had to stay there and we really liked it. Yes this resort is mush bigger then POFQ and we did have to walk a bit to get the food court every day but however our son was 22 month at the time and he seemed to like this resort a lot he liked walking on the sandy beaches and also the pool was a walk in so he was ale to go into pool easy and loved playing in the water. The food courts is pretty big and he never had to wait for table. Also there is a lot of food options too which is good for a toddler.

We did CBR with my son when he was 2. He LOVED it. He loved the theming, the pool, and pretty much everything about it. We have also done POR, and the kiddos love it too. If you want theming, go with POFQ, CBR, or POR.

POFQ if nice and compact and has kid fun pool area, CBR pool has a zero entry, which is great for toddlers, but if staying there I would probably get a preferred room so you are close to everything. After staying at all 3 levels of resorts, we think the Mods give us what we need and like without draining our bank account by going deluxe.

POFQ would be my suggestion of the 3 suggested. It's smaller, easier to get around and the kids love the pool. They also just opened a new toddler area at the pool that looks awesome. We stayed there several times when the kids were younger. They are both teens now and its still their favorite resort. As another poster stated, Storm Along bay at Yacht/Beach Club is great with the 3 pools and close access to Boardwalk and Epcot. It does increase the cost significantly though and proximity to the pool/central area is key with young ones.

Happy to read this as we just switched our reservation to CSR last night. Our youngest will be 20 months when we travel.
