We've been to Fantasia Mini Golf two years ago, which is beautiful!! It's accross from one of the Boardwalk area hotels, so we ate at ESPN first (very good food & quiet for lunch). There's just mini golf (and I believe an advanced course too), no entertainment or food at Fantasia. The other Disney mini-golf is snow themed I believe (being from Wisconsin, we see enough snow
If you don't have a car, getting there on Disney Transportation takes forever if your not staying accross from it!! You have to transfer busses several times. I'd only go again if we took a cab or drove (or were lucky enough to stay at the Boardwalk).
any discount coupons for mini-golf? Are both of these courses Disney owned? We're staying at the Swan and we have a rental car, so we could go to either one. How much to play? Which one is cooler in August?
In August I would go to either in the evening, we went to Winterland/Summerland midday in Feb and were dying from the heat by the end of the course. I think for a child winterland/summerland is a more fun and recognizable course (many of them haven't seen all of Fantasia). The only discounts I know of for mini-golf are AP discount. Both courses are owned by Disney.
We get the AP discount, but I believe if you play one round the second is 1/2 price...... if that helps! We played in January, and I can't for the life of me remember what I paid.
I have also been to Fantasia Gardens and we died in the heat. And that was in December. There is no shade whatsoever. Winter/Summerland had more trees and much more shade.
Birnbaum's 2006 has a coupon for 10% off. AP holders get 50% off for up to 4 people.
