Hello DIS friends,

I have already typed out my tentative ititernary. I have reserve an afternoon for mini golf. I'm planning to do AK in the morning, then lunch to Rainforest then head to golf.

Which one would be the most fun for my three children and child-like husband?

Thank you for your input. :hyper:

SInce I have not actually played any of the courses, you might want to take this with a grain of salt, however, I have been researching which courses would be the best for me. I like real golf (though I stink at it), so the Fantasia Fairways course would be suited to me. The Winter Summarland courses and the Fantasia Gardens course all seem to be pretty good, with the usual assortment of obstacles, all with the Disney themes and flair. As far as ease of play goes, I have read that Winter Summerland is much easier on the scorecard than Fantasia. Have a wonderful trip.

Winter/Summerland Definetly with the kids. Fantasia is HARD even for us adults... I get very frustrated over there. Winter/Summerland also would be closer to your plans for the day as it is located fairly close to AK...

I have played Fantasia Gardens and Winter Summerland. Winter Summerland seemed much easier than Fantasia Gardens. Both have great themes for children. If your children are a little older and have played mini golf before try Fantasia Gardens. If they are younger and not that great at mini golf try Winter Summerland. Also, Winter Summerland seemed less crowded.

I really don't like Fantasia Gardens. It's like difficult putting practice!!! We had a wonderful time at Winter/Summerland in December. It's very much fun, and of course, Disney does add their special little "surprises". We did Winterland. For me it's a no brainer!!!

Winterland/Summerland and then let the kids pick which course - this is at Blizzard Beach which is close to AK

One thing to keep in mind, there is no shade (well, almost no shade) at Fantasia, and man does it get hot there during the day.

Fantasia Gardens which is located by the Swan/Dolphin hotels is actually comprised of two miniature golf courses. One plays like a traditional golf course and is very difficult even for adults and one is like a tradiitonal miniature course and is suitable for young children.

So depending on your location, you have a choice between fantasia gardens and S/W. Enjoy!

Winter/Summerland...there is a lot to keep the kids entertained while waiting for everyone to finish or take their turn!

Definitely Winter/Summerland! My 2 ds's and kid-like DH love this one! Fun, not too difficult, great theming, Beach Boys music playing...what more could you ask for? :D We go every trip to the World!

My DD (8 years old) and I have played both Fantasia and Winter side of wintersummerland. Wintersummerland is much easier. Everyone I saw at Fantasia was having trouble getting their putts up the steep inclines. Also, we were dive bombed and harrassed by a mockingbird ( it actually nipped me under my arm!) The CM said they had trouble with that, but hadn't been able to get the bird to leave. Hopefully it is gone now!
