Which 32gb class 10 memory card would you buy?

I will want to shoot in RAW..they should all be able to handle that right?

I have it narrowed it down to

PNY Technologies memory card for $46.99

Transcend for $54.88

Or

Kingston for $55.95

Also

Are these good prices? Do you think I could find them cheaper anywhere?

I was also thinking about buying another memory card in addition to one of the ones above on eBay. I read on here awhile ago that a lot memory cards are fake on eBay. Like they claim it is a class 10 when it is really a class 2 etc.. Is this true would it be worth the risk? Has anyone bought a memory card of of eBay before?

Thanks for any help!

:goodvibes

I *think* you only need Class 10 if you are shooting HD video.

I would trust a name brand. I have used CF cards (I shoot Canon) from Kingston, PNY, SanDisk, and Lexar. Never had an opportunity to try transcend.

The class 10 memory cards are actually cheaper then the class 6 ones. The class 10 ones will still work for pictures..right? My camera can take HD video and i use it once in awhile. :goodvibes

Memory Cards are one thing I would never buy on Ebay........ and I like to shop on ebay. MANY of the cards listed there are counterfeit and you have no way of knowing WHAT you got.

I would avoid Transcend. I have one that is supposed to be Class 6 and it acts like a Class 4. I can only do two minutes of video at a time. The first Transcend I had was a CF card years ago and it failed after about three months.

I second that post about not buying transcend. I bought a card off of ebay for my T2i and it was hit or miss for video. Now I have been using Sandisk with no problems.

Thanks everyone! I bought three class 10 16gb PNY's from best buy. It only cost $77.00 for all 3. That is only $26 apiece. Seems like a good deal to me! :thumbsup2

I think you made the right decision. I buy my cards from NewEgg, Best Buy and Wal-Mart and have never had any problems.

That's a better choice. Also because of the smaller size. Having had a card die before and lost all the pictures on it, I never would use a giant sized card that could hold thousands of photos all in one place. If it goes, everything is gone. I don't carry anything larger than 8gb in my bag, actually. For video it is a different story, but for just photos, I keep it to the 8gb so that in the event of another possible card failure I only lose a few hundred shots instead of possibly everything I've taken over a whole trip.

Just food for thought.
