Which meals to split or do we buy a kids meal instead

ODD has wheat and tomato allergies and will be a Disney Adult when we go. YDD is 4 and eats like a bird (yesterday, she ate fries and my chicken at dinner). We are staying 5 nights. I'm pretty sure that means we have 15 adult TS credits and 5 child TS credits.

We have TS plans for:
Yak and Yeti (heard great things about the chef and wheat problems).
Skipper Canteen (yum...)
O'hana (I hope) or Kona for breakfast
Akershus
Cinderella's Royal Table
Bon Voyage Bkfst

Will someone who has done this before help me figure out which meals we need to share to get this credit math to work out. Can ODD and I share at Y&Y, CRT, and Bon Voyage Bkfst? Would it be cheaper/would they LET me just pay for her to have an allergy kids meal to save credits? I know this seems like a dense question, but I like to know exactly how much I'm spending on this trip (I've estimated money to save for tips, groceries, etc...) so I need to figure out how much I'm going to need to save to cover additional meals.

You are unable to share at CRT, Bon Voyage, Akershus, or 'Ohana (if you get it). Those meals require everyone there use a credit.

Additionally, CRT is a two credit meal, so you're actually 2 meals short. If you do all of the above, that's it for your TS.

You need to look at menus for Y&Y, Skipper's, and Kona (maybe) to see what you'd eat there combined. If you think two meals there (with tax and tip) are more $$ than CRT, do CRT OOP. Otherwise, do those OOP. The other meals you listed are all going to be in the more expensive side, so I would use credits on those for sure.

Fwiw, the QS is much easier to stretch because you can order adult meals with all 20 of your credits. I'd ditch a couple TS meals and stretch my QS and snack credits to feed the family for the 6 days without having to add additional food costs on top of the DDP cost.

Thank you! I knew we couldn't share at Akershus or Ohana, but it looked like Bon Voyage was just a meal and I wasn't sure on CRT.

Any meal that has characters requires everyone in party to use their credits. You are also paying for the character experience. Disney adult will be charged "adult" credits.

Only the deluxe plan can you use kids credits as adults credits. Technically that is not allowed by the plan, but a loophole that Disney has never closed up and it is easily done. It does not sound like you have the deluxe plan. As such, you will have to pay out of pocket 2 meals- which I would make Yak/Yeti and Skippers. You could do a Landry's card to get discounts for Yak and Yeti. When I signed up, I said my husband's birthday was the month of our trip, just to get the birthday bonus and apply it to our disney trip.

Thank you! Very helpful!
