We have never eaten at either restaurant and would like to try at least one this trip. Which is the best meal at Ohana and the best choice for Kona. We have 2 kids who will be 6 and 11.
Thanks!
Lynn

'Ohana will depend on if you want to see characters. I can't stand Lilo and Stitch so I'd never eat there for breakfast but other people love them. If those are favorite characters for your family, go for dinner. It's tasty and fun, but no characters (they do have some interactive activities, like hula hoop contests and pineapple races)

I think Kona is better at dinner, their breakfast stuff is pretty basic breakfast food with the exception of 2-3 entrees. Their dinner was really good, we thought. Look at the menu at both and see which appeals to you the most.

Can't help w/ O'hana as we've done dinner there only once and won't be heading back!! Your kids might like it though..
Kona is much better for breakfast. The place has a coffee shop look and feel to it (which isn't suprising since it used to be a coffee shop) that dosen't appeal to us for a dinner location. Plus it's wide open and faces the Poly lobby.
