Which kids activity center? WL or GF?

We are planning to make use of a kids activity center on our upcoming trip so DH and I can have quiet dinner without the kids one night.

We are staying at WL. I haven't picked a restaurant, but some of the ones at GF (Citricos and Narcossees - spelling?) look really interesting. I'm wondering if it would be better to have our kids in the WL "cubs den" while we go to another resort for dinner, or if we should bring the whole family to GF and use the kids club (mouseketeer club?) there. Any ideas on pros/cons? My sons will be 6 and 9 at the time of our trip. Thanks in advance!

I have read good feedback about all the Kid's Clubs on these threads.

I used the GF Club for my DD (age 6) last October. It work well and DD had a good experience but it is much smaller than the WL Cub's Den and not really themed.

I chose the GF Club simply for proximity sake and timing. I was having a few treatments at the spa and since there is a 4 hour limit at the Kid's Clubs- I didn't want to feel rushed in trying to get back from the GF to WL in time. (Would have defeated the whole purpose of the spa visit!! LOL).

Anyway, you should be able to go to dinner a the GF and back in four hours so my vote would be for the WL Kid's Club. Since you are staying at the WL, the kids will be able to 'check it out' before you actually go to dinner so that might make them feel a bit more comfortable.

Happy planning! Have a great trip!

We were at WDW a few weeks ago and our DS/8 adn DD/7 stayed at the Mousketeer Club at GF. The loved it! When we went to pick them up, after their being there for 5 hours, they wanted to know why did we come back so soon. They had a blast. They had dinner, watched a movie, played video games, did arts and crafts and just played with the other kids. They both asked if they could go back the next night!

While they were there, DH, DD/15 and I went to Epcot. Took the monorail over there and back. We were able to see a concert, have dinner and catch the fireworks. Still were back to get the kids in plenty of time.

They have also stayed at the Neverland Club at the Polynesian. They really liked it too, but now they say Mouseketeer Club is the best!

Hope your kids like it as much as mine do!:wave2: Have fun!!!

I'd love to see photos too if anyone has any. Also, does anyone know if they separate kids by age? DS6 will be happy as long as he can be with DS9, but if they are sent to different rooms, he might not want to stay.

We used the GF Club in July and were very surprised at how SMALL it is! If you are staying at WL, I would recommend trying their Club. The travel time to and from will be "alone" time for the two of you, plus the GF Club is def. nothing special (one of the few things at GF that isn't;))
Our girls were 6 and 7. Good luck!
