December 2021-2022. Diagnosed with cancer, 4 hospital stays, numerous surgeries, chemo, radiation. It sucked!

2018 as a whole, sucked.

Either 2018 when I had major unplanned knee surgery that took me out of commission for months during which one of my son acted out disastrously because I could supervise him very well or 2020 when my dad died during the lockdown alone in hospice.

1999. My mother had an aneurysm, and my father had a heart attack while visiting her in the hospital. They were sick all summer and I spent so much time going back and forth between them and my job that eventually my boss lost patience and I lost my job. Then I got sick with bronchitis with no insurance and was down for about 2 months before I got another job. Besides that, it was an awesome year.

2015-2017 was the worst. 2 major surgeries and lost both my parents.

Healthwise, 2019 was not good. Then I was let go from my job of 12 years in Dec of that year too!!

1984....both parents died.
2023 has not been good....fell and broke my hip (couldn't go on a planned Disneyland trip), got food poisoning, cut my finger and had to go to ER, developed Plantar Faciitis,
DH found out he has no immune system, DD has a vein problem and is scheduled to get that fixed in Dec. DS has leg problems connected to his back problem, DIL just found out she has early MS.
Next year has to be better

2020. My dad, who was my best friend, died of a "widowmaker" heart attack right in front of me and my mom. Awful.

1987 - my three year old son was diagnosed with bone cancer with a poor prognosis.

Thankfully he's 39 now!
