which of the resorts is the best one when you do not have a car. which has more choices to eat when you do not have a car.

Well SSR would give you the proximity of Downtown Disney and all the restaurant offerings there. BCV or BWV would give you easy access to Epcot with the many choices to pick from also.

BCV and BWV tie for table service spots at four each. Since it is such a short walk from one to the other, both have 8 in close proximity without any need for ticket media.

AKL and VWL have two choices at each.

OKW and SSR each have only one restaurant.

If you include parks that are convenient, BCV and BWV also afford easy access to the 11 options at Epcot and 5 at DHS.

From VWL, you can boat to CR and hop the monorail for the 9 table service options at the monorail resorts. Or boat to MK for the restaurants there.

OKW and SSR have boat service to DTD and the 10 restaurants there.

You forgot the restaurant choices at the Swan & Dolphin Resorts. I don't know how many restaurants the two resorts would add, but I do remember that a good portion of them give DVC members a 20% discount!

Without a car, I think the EPCOT resor5ts easily win the restaurant choice derby.

You're right, I completely forgot them. Blue Zoo doesn't give the discount but most or all of the other table service restaurants do.

I agree with your last statement, too.

However, if CR villas become a reality, I think in quality of restaurants the monorail circuit will win if not by sheer numbers. But that's personal taste. We love CG, Kona, Narcoosee's and Citricos. And V&A is in a whole different league. Hoping the new one on the first floor of the CR lives up to the monorail standards.

is there a fee to get into epcot to just eat at the restaurants, I have never been there? also what are these monarail restaurants you speak of, where are they in relation to mk?

I would have to agree with you. Haven't tried V&A just yet, but I really do like the ones you mention.

Yes, you must pay park admission to eat in one of the park restaurants.

The monorail restaurants are the ones in the resorts that are served by the monorail. The Contemporary, the Polynesian, and the Grand Floridian.

You do have to pay admission to EPCOT even if just eating at the restaurants. Monorail restaurants are those available by monorail which would include the places at the Contemporary, the Polynesian, and the Grand Floridian at MK. Those reosrts all border the Seven Seas Lagoon on which the entrance to MK sits.

Yes you will need park admission tickets to get into the parks if you are having dinner in there.

BWV and BCV are probably the most difficult to obtain villa reservations at. SSR will be easier, particularly if you are visiting during busier times.

We come to Disney several times a year and execpt for February, we fly in and use ME. We do not rent a car. We use the suspect bus service and eat at all different places. Even when we drive in Feb. we do not drive to the restaurant, take the bus.:yay:
