I'm soon going to be looking to offer some points for rent. The question I am asking myself is this, which is more desirable from a renter's perspective, points or a confirmed reservation?
I know points have greater flexibility, but a confirmed reservation is just that, confirmed. I'll be doing some research into renting, to get an understanding of the pro's/con's and the best way in which to do it for a smooth transaction.
I also see the site has three options for bypassing the restrictions of having a 50 non-rent posts spread over 6 months. Platinum has this feature but I I don't fully understand the benefit.
Allows the same features as the gold plan except that one of the allowed existing reservations may be offered without regard for the arrival date up to 11 months before check-in.
Does it mean I can offer a reservation that is for a date greater than 30 days, right up to the 11 months?
Thanks for any input, I'm off to research!
