Which is closer? Bes Western Park Place or Desert Inn and Suites?

They are both so close it doesn't matter. Seriously DI&S is probably a 30 second walk from PPI. I've never actually counted, but we have stayed at DI&S 5 times so far.

Technically, the Desert Inn is closer to the crosswalk but only by a few feet. If I remember right, the two hotels are right next to each other with a Denny's between them.

I think it's the other way around. BWPPI is right in front of the cross walk and then the Denny's and then the Desert Inn. Either way, it doesn't really matter since they are both extremely close. Closer than the Disneyland and Paradise Pier Hotels are from the park entrance gates.

Actually PPI is at the crosswalk, DI&S's a few feet farther. Denny's is not in between the hotels. It is on the other side of the DI&S.

Best Wester PPI is AT the crosswalk, DS is couple doors down. You are correct they are so close it doesn't matter. Plus at DS you get a 10% discount at Dennys (not that that is a deal breaker)
The other poster had it backwards DS is a few doors down

Actually, don't forget that the Tropicana and Coldstone creamery are in between Desert Inn and the crosswalk. I think it's about 20 steps further as I thought it would be fun to count the space between the two hotels last trip

No, the Tropicana is the other direction. I think you're thinking of the Park Vue Inn.
