Which Is Better???

We've heard good things about Trail's End Buffet and Whispering Canyon Care and want to try one. Which one is better?

Whispering Canyon is a lot of fun, especially for kids. The food is pretty good and the atmosphere is loud. The servers are usually a lot of fun. You can order the all-you-can eat dinner or dinner ala carte.

The last time we were at Trails End, it was good but it was like a regular buffet. Admittedly, that was a few years ago.

We did both last trip. WC is lots of fun! Atmosphere is totally different than TE. At WC its almost like a show. TE is strictly a buffet. The food is good at both. TE was a great price (I think $16.99 pp for dinner?) and the food was really good. We were impressed for a buffet. We did think it was a hassle to get there. You have to park at the front of Fort Wilderness then wait for a bus. We didn't realize this (they didn't make any mention of it when I made the priority seating). We were over half an hour late for our seating but that wasn't a problem. We got seated right away.

With kids I think WC would be lots of fun. We had a blast there!

Whispering Canyon is at the Wilderness Lodge, so you just board WL's bus instead of your own resort's. We did that when we had reservations at Boma and yet we were staying at All Star Sports.

We would select WCC over Trail's End buffet. I guess I just don't get the excitement about Trail's End. We had dinner there and the food was pretty good, but nothing I would care to hurry back to. There was no "Disney Experience" to speak of. Kind of boring...I guess people must just enjoy the good price. The food at WCC was good (not superb), but the antics made it really fun.

We liked the food better at WCC and it is much easier to get to than Trail's End. We also enjoyed all the action and fun at WCC.

we liked Trail's End better - but that is a whole other thread. If you are staying at WL it is much easier to take the boat over to Trail's End than the bus - we found out the hard way.
