Which is a better use of a fast pass--TSM or RNR?

My 60 day mark is tomorrow! I'm trying to decide which would be the better use of a fast pass.

This would be for a Sunday afternoon, at the tail end of the spring break rush. I'm hoping to get fast passes for Tower of Terror, Star Tours, and one of the above--and I'd like them to be roughly between the hours of noon and 3 o'clock (We will be spending the morning at MK.)

Our party consists of me (mom) and my two sons that are 17 and 10. Everyone is comfortable riding on their own if necessary so using the single rider line at RNR is a possibility (though I know it isn't always the fastest.)

I thought I had heard that in the last year or so, TSM had opened another track that has really decreased the waiting time?
Thanks for any insight!

I would say TSM is your best bet for the FP+ I know TSM did open another track, but as far as I know, the wait times are still pretty high on that ride. In addition, there is no single rider line at TSM. FP+ that, and then use single rider line for RnRC and you'll be set.

We were at HS this past Thursday afternoon. RnRC had 70 min waits on the Lines app for the whole time we were there, while TSMM ranged from 35-45. That's only on one day, but I figured I'd share.

Mid afternoon there's probably going to be a long line for either one. I'd rather wait in a line for for TSMM because it's indoors. We go in June and that line for RNR can be brutal in the heat. You'll be there in April so that not as much of a consideration. But, that's the way I'd go.

I was there on a busy Saturday, and was able to get a 4th FP for TSMM a bit later in the day for 3 people, So that's always a possibility.

The single rider for RnRC can move pretty slow during peak times, so don't count on that in making your decision. On peak times we've waited anywhere from 25-40 minutes for single which isn't bad considering waits go way longer than that. If it is winding up and down the ramp outside, it's a long wait you may not want to bother...if it is one or two "switchbacks" until the door to get inside, it's usually faster. (A good tip I found on these boards!) We usually FP it at least once (late day though) and RD it another time right after TSMM.

Honestly, in my experience the waits for both these rides can be all over the place. We typically get FPs for TSM or do it right at rope drop because I think the line for that ride is more consistently long, however we have had a few instances where we were rode a second time Stand By later in the day and the wait was not too bad. RnR can either have really short lines where we have almost walked right one (or not waited very long) or can be a 90 minute wait. It's an odd one for me - it seems like on an given day either everyone in the park either LOVES RnR or no one wants to touch it with a ten foot pole. Because we have had so many instances without a long wait however, we leave RnR up to chance and if the line is ridiculous we just skip it.

I agree with another poster...... the wait for TSMM is better in that it's inside and there's more to look at through the queue. The standby for RnRC can be just miserable! very tight, close quarters, hot (even if it's not that hot out!) and boring. Also the single riders line for RnRC can be just as long as the standby. We never do single riders for that! I'd say.... FP RnRC and do standby for TSMM.

Thank you all! I think I will do the RNR fastpass. I have actually never had to wait in a long line for TSM--I've only gone on it when I had a fast pass, so I've never really looked at all the cute decorations they have along the line. :)
