I am visiting DLRP in November, 4 nights at Sequoia Lodge.

I am now going to add an extra 3nights to visit paris and Vl d Europe.

I was thinking of the Hotel L'elysee, though got a little put off by poor trip advsor reviews.

I then looked at the Kyriad, or the Explorers, but again the reviews are mixed.

What would you suggest? What are your experiences?

Ive stayed at Kyriad and Explorers twice each and loved them both.
Ive never stayed at Elysee but havent heard any bad reports on here about it - it would be easier as well as next to Val d'Europe and near RER to get into Paris

Ive never stayed here but wanted to add trip advisor can be scary and dont believe everthing you read on there.

Looking on trip advisor not all reviews are bad, 75% are good and usually we tend to believe the bad reports over the the good even if there are more good than bad reviews.

I've stayed at Elysee & thought it was great. It is in a great location - close to the Val d'Europe shopping centre, the train station & has a free shuttle bus to Disneyland. I would be happy to stay there again.

I've also stayed here and agree with Karen, its a really nice hotel with a great location!(opposite the shopping centre)

:cool2:

I stayed at the E'lysee a few weeks ago and it was fine.

Most people only go on tripadvisor to complain. You have to remember aswell that some people book the hotel through Disney at full rates. If you paid the full rate you might be a little disappointed I suppose. The Kyriad suffers from the same problem. It's a decent enough hotel but you'd expect more for the rates that some people pay for it.

If I was you, I think I'd rather book a hotel in the centre of Paris. There's not much to do in Val D Europe (an afternoon's worth at most).

If you shop around you can get some good rates.
