Which hotel

We stayed at Portofino last year and are planning to stay onsite again in September. Had a club deluxe last year and it was lovely but as we have squeezed in a holiday this year I don't want to spend so much.
Was wondering if Water view at RPR was the same price as Garden at Hard Rock which would you pick. I have 3 girly girls under 9 which would you go to.Also do I have to take the rollaway at $25 could I bring my own airbed and just ask for extra sheets.
If I did go for club at RPR do I get a choice of water view or standard. We are not used to traffic noise and don't want to be stuck on the side of the hotel which is at the road.

HRH rooms are larger so you might be happier there. I've only been to RPR and it was just my 8 yo DD and me. We had a club king pool view and were fine but I would have hated to have 2 more kids with me. Many of the rooms did face a busy road so you could get stuck with traffic noise. HRH was just renovated too. Don't get me wrong, we loved RPR but it just sounds to me like you would be happier at HRH.

Are you a AAA member? You can frequently get good rates with the discount. Also, are you a Loew's member? If not, you should join - starting members can get an upgraded room at check-in if one is available and as you move up to gold and platinum the benefits get even better.

We stayed at RPR last Spring Break and LOVED it. I suggest the Club Level room with 3 girls. You will save money on food and drinks by having 4 or more people. The pool is very nice and if you stay in a Club Level room you can rent a Cabana at a discounted rate.

We've stayed at RPR facing traffic but never heard any noise that I can remember being invasive.

I have stayed at RPR and HRH and never recall hearing traffic noise. I think you will love either hotel. The rooms may be some larger at the HRH.

Thanks for that. I just felt that having stayed at PBH in a deluxe club last year we might be a bit disappointed with a standard room at RPR. Think you are probably right about going to Hard Rock makes more sense to have the bigger room especially with there being 5 of us. We are loewes members and also use the AAA rate . Don't know if we should do club again I felt that we went to the club for the beer etc at the cost of doing other things with the girls. Had a glass of wine and the girls nibbled then couldn't eat their meal that we had organised. Having said that I never saw them eat so much as they did when we went for breakfast so it is probably worth it for that alone. The convenience of not having to go into the parks to eat.
Reassuring about the level of noise from the road as that really worried us or rather me. We never sleep at any of the airport hotels that well as they are always next to the busy main road and there is lots of traffic noise.
