Which Hotel is closest to US entrance?

Which hotels are closest to Universal Studios entrance....not sure if I like the idea that the onsite don't have a food court but I like the head of the line idea....

How can I find which ones are the closest and what they include....I know there is the Raddison ....

The closest to Universal Studios would be Hard Rock Hotel, with Royal Pacific Hotel closest to Islands of Adventure, then there is the beautiful Portofino Bay Hotel. All are within walking distance, especially the first two. You would need to stay at one of these three hotels to get the front of the line privileges. We stayed at the Royal Pacific in August and loved the FOTL advantage.

The onsite hotels are, of course, the closest. The offsite hotels that are literally across the street are

The Radisson
Holiday Inn Universal
Sleep Inns and Suites
Comfort Suites
All of the hotels on Major Blvd are very close.

The Islands Dining Room at RPR has a special kids meal in the evenings. VERY reasonably priced and a separate dining area for the kids.

The adult part of the restaurant, be warned, is quite expensive, although the food is excellent.

The most casual dining at RPR is Jake's American Bar. Fun atmosphere but limited menu.
