We are planning on splitting our time during our next trip between Universal and Disney. When we go to Disney we stay at the Poly, GF or Boardwalk in a club level room. Which of the three Universal hotels is considered the most deluxe with a club level. Any pool info would also be welcomed.
Thanks

all three have the club level, but my guess is that the Portofino Bay is what you would be looking for - dont forget to check AAA rates(if you have it) and supersaver rates (3 nights or more)

We have only stayed at the HRH club - 3rd trip coming up shortly - so I only know about their pool. Pool hopping is allowed at the Universal onsite hotels. I am sure someone will be along soon that can help you with the pool info.

let us know if you need more help :thumbsup2

Yes, the Portofino -- but wouldn't you want a *different* experience than what you have at GF/Disney?
Go with the Hard Rock, IMHO...

All 3 are "very Deluxe" by WDW standards. They are all wonderful. I'd pick the one who's theming most appeals to you.

Unlike WDW, you CAN pool hop.:cool1:

RPR theming - reminds me of Poly on the inside (outside kindof dull)....

i too am a disney lover and to me, all 3 of the universal resorts are deluxes. i have stayed at all of them and love each for different reasons. i love royal pacific because i feel like i am away at a tropical oasis with a short walk to all the fun. the decor is very calming and inviting here. i love hard rock because it is fun. it is so lively. there is always something going on here and the service at the pool is terrific. and as for the portifino bay, this is my spa retreat. definitely my escape to an italian villa.

out of the 3, i prefer the liveliness of the pool at hard rock but enjoy the pools at portofino better. as for distance, they are all within walking distance of the parks and citywalk with portofino being the furthest. all have water taxi to activities. check out my trip reports below or pm me if you have more questions. happy planning!
