Which hotel allows/allowed you to take a boat to/from Downtown Disney?

I remembered that on one trip, many years ago, my Mom, cousin, and I, rode a boat from our hotel to DTD. But I cannot remember where we were staying during that trip. All I remember is the boat ride, and it is a very, very, vague memory. But I remember it.

So, which hotel provided this boat transport to DTD, and do they still do it?

I'm pretty sure that that's Port Orleans. It was either back in 2003 or 2004 that we did this.

The Disney website says that you still can take the boat to DTD. I was wondering if they still did it as well.

POR & POFQ both have boat docks that take you to DTD. The boats run pretty much all day and into the night. It is a quick boat ride and very convenient. My son loved being so close to the Lego Store and Goofy's Candy Co.

I have seen boat docks outside OKW and SSR while on the POR/POFQ, but I have never seen anyone waiting at them or a boat docked there, so I am not sure if they have this service.

This is not correct. There is regular boat service from both Port Orleans resorts as well as Old Key West and Saratoga Springs. You can go from these resorts to DTD as well as between these resorts by boat. I know from experience this is the case.

The POR/POFQ ferry does not stop at SSR & OKW, nor does it even run by the OKW dock.

Sorry to bust that but I rode the OKW ferry last Tuesday the 12th.

The water taxis run every 20 minutes from 11 am to 4 pm; and after 4 pm, they run every ten minutes.

The Port Orleans resorts run POR, POFQ, DTD, POFQ, POR and dock at the Marketplace dock. If you arriving at the dock, you will be on the left hand side.

The SSR/THV water taxi goes from Marketplace on the right hand dock if you are arriving, and it goes SSR, THV, DTD, SSR, THV.

The OKW water taxi docks at Pleasure Island. From there, you can take the water taxi to Marketplace or Westside or walk.
