I have stayed at the HRH many times and really like it. I've stayed at PB a couple times and like it but not the location. For my trip in June I booked the RPH. I've always wanted to try it but only if it was cheaper than the HRH.
At the time I booked RPH was about $65/night less. That was enough to have me try the RPH. APH have just been released for PB and HRH but not the RPH.
They are all three within $10/night of each other. Price is now not part of my decision. I was excited to try a new hotel but would have a hard time picking the RPH over HRH for the same price.

What would you decide in my situation and why ?

Does RPH normally follow HRH and PB in offering an APH rate ?

Thanks

I would try it. We love RPR and would never stay anywhere else. If you do not mind a little bit smaller room then you should be fine. We love the tropical atmosphere over the other two hotels. But we really enjoy pool hopping to HRH. But thats about it. It all boils down to what you like.:thumbsup2

mmhm that is odd. I have never seen one resort excluded from AP rates while the others had it. Maybe call the reservations line and see what the deal is-you said your going in june, so they might of already sold out of AP rates at royal pacific.

We had planned to stay at RPR for our June trip (June 12-16), but we switched to PBH when the AP rates came out. I like RPR and its location, but PBH is DH's favorite hotel. If there had been AP rates for RPR, we probably would have stayed there, but I called and the TM said that all the AP rates for RPR were gone. I think RPR is probably more booked up than the others for our dates.

For our dates, it was $228.65 for RPR (stay more, save more), $219 for PBH (AP) and $234 for Hard Rock (AP). We thought about trying Hard Rock since we have never stayed there, but the rooms are so nice at PBH and it was less expensive. DH is very happy that we are now staying at PBH for less than we budgeted for RPR. Since we bring an air mattress (there are four of us, but my kids don't like to sleep together), the extra floor space will be nice at PBH. We were able to fit a queen air mattress in our PBH room last summer.

RPR seems to fill up the quickest. So I imagine there weren't a lot of rooms left and no need to make a lot of APH rooms available.
