Which Home Away From Home is Best? At least, which do you prefer?

While I have stayed at most and enjoyed each, my favorite remains OKW.

I'll let you know when I get back from my first DVC trip. I have never stayed at any of them, and never have even seen my home resort. So I'll get back to ya on this one!

I think OKW with SSR second.

completely depends upon why you are going - rest and relaxation - OKW

fun at the parks - Epcot - BCV, Studios - BWV, MK - VWL

going to party all night long - either BWV for the BW, or SSR for PI.

What can I say? It's my "home"! Great location across from DTD and PI, it also has a spa, so there's bonus points there too.

Certainly all of the resorts are awesome, and each has their own strengths.
The Villas at Wilderness Lodge is our favorite, with the Vero Beach Resort coming in second.

Best is subjective depending on the circumstances; VWL at Xmas time is probably the best, if you like Epcot, BCV is probably the best, etc. Favorites can be anything and I think that most answers may indicate favorite rather than best. I choose other because I think best depends on the circumstances and the reasons for the trip; what do you expect to do? I don't think there is a one-size-fits-all resort as the best.
