Which Hilton

We are DVC members and have an annual pass. My daughter just came back from her honeymoon and said she loved being a Disney for Halloween. We have Hilton Honor points and decided to take an extra trip next October using the Hilton points and getting an extra trip out of the annual pass. I am looking for suggestions on which Hillton hotel to stay at, Hilton at Bonnet Creek. Hilton at Downtown Disney (or whatever they call it now) or DoubleTree (which I think is also Downtown Disney). If I read the Hilton info correctly the Hilton in Downtown Disney gets EMH. I have not stayed off property at WDW since 1983.

Thanks.

Hilton DTD gets EMH. It sits directly across from DTD and is a nice hotel. Last stayed years ago and if hours were deal breaker would look at again.

Doubletree Suites is also on Hotel Plaza Blvd but the end. It just went through a complete renovation and the suites are very well done. Stayed last month and def will return.

Hilton Bonnet Creek is the new one just off property but a great location to get to parks. Amenities above and beyond the others. Staying next month for few days before a week at Bonnet Creek condo.

Bonnet Creek - The rooms are very nice. Absolutely love the pool and lazy river. Bring your own intertube. Bus to the parks provided.

DTD - location across from DTD, Lots of congestion and construction in the area until Fall 2015, rooms need to be rehabbed. EMH for parks, bus shares with 3 other hotels.

My choice would be BC.
Keep in mind both charge a resort fee and a parking fee with tax on top of your room rate.

We're looking to do the exact same thing, but in November.

We're trying to decide between the same three as well. We're used to staying offsite in timeshares with 2-3 bedrooms, so the Doubletree is tempting. However, we're thinking of going car-less, so being directly across from DTD is enticing as well. We've heard the pools at Bonnet Creek are great, but we're not sure how much we'll use them in November.

Also, we're HHonors Diamond members and I believe the resort fee is waived if paying with points (I'll have to call the Diamond Desk to confirm). Parking, unfortunately, is not.

We can't decide which to stay at!! Help!

Have only stayed at the Hilton on Hotel Plaza Drive across from DTD, but I would recommend it strictly based on the Extra Magic Hours. I don't recall the shuttle options they provide, but it is a short walk to DTD buses. Only issue with that is you must take a bus to a resort and transfer if you want to get to the parks.

I just pulled the trigger and booked last night. Settled on the Hilton across from DTD. We figured the close walking access to DTD, Extra Magic Hours and other amenities were best. We're going the week of Thanksgiving next year. We're going to try to go without a rental car, which we've never done (we've always stayed offsite) so we'll be relying on the busses.
