Traveling with DH and 2 older children. Looking for recently renovated rooms, great pools and relaxing atmosphere. Any ideas?

For what you are looking for I would rank them as follows:
- Parc Soleil
- I-drive (formerly known as Tuscany)
- Seaworld (the original HGVR)

In terms of convenience and location, I might reverse the order
- Seaworld (walking distance to SW and easy access to I-ride trolley)
- I-Drive (walking distance to Publix, small shopping center, Premium Outlet mall, and I-ride trolley)
- Parc Soleil (not really walking distance to anything and very secluded, although this is a benefit for most people especially if you have a car)

Enjoy! :cool1:

- Parc Soleil (not really walking distance to anything and very secluded, although this is a benefit for most people especially if you have a car)

But don't get the impression that Parc Soleil is located far away from everything, it's not. The resort is located on land that's off Palm Parkway in an area that has been slowly developed over the past several years. There are a couple of hotels just down the road from the resort (I think they're a Hilton Garden Inn and a Marriott Residence Inn. From the resort it's about a mile and a half to two miles to the general Crossroads area of Lake Buena Vista and no more than three miles to Downtown Disney. Also not a bad location if visiting SeaWorld (about 2 1/2 miles away) or Universal (about 6 1/2 miles by taking Palm Parkway/Turkey Lake Road). The resort looks to be a very nice, upscale timeshare resort.
