Which Good Neighbor hotel is closest to entrance?

I looked at the map on the Disney website, but it doesn't have the park entrance clearly marked. We are going to have a VERY long day and don't want to go too far at the end of the day. I know there are so many that are close, but what is the closest? We will probably be going for 22 hours with no sleep and will be ready to get to a bed!

Yep, BWPPI is closest, and a bit more pricey than others. We stay at Desert Inn & Suites, which is next door. We try to get our hotel room cheap, after all, we are only there to sleep and shower!!
Have fun!!

I'm torn between the Candy Cane Inn (not as close, but shuttle), the Park Place Inn and HoJo's. I know the CCI and HoJo's get the best reviews on Trip Advisor... It is just hard to tell from that map where the hotels really are except for the PPI. When I was there with my mom a number of years back, we stayed right across from the park, but I can't remember the name of the hotel for the life of me.

Well Hojo's and CCI are pretty much the same distance. CCI does have it's own private shuttle. You'll find loyal fans of both for sure on here. We're giving Hojo's a try for the first time next week. We got the entertainment rate ($59 a night), which is what really sealed the deal for us.

We usually stay at the Tropicana which is right across the street (next door to PPI). It's really nice as well. Lots to choose from I know!

Realize too that these hotels run "deep" on the properties, not wide in most cases, meaning they're not huge to get past. We stayed at the Carousel and it, the Tropicana, and BWPPI are all on the same block, pretty much. It's really not far at ALL. If you can find something cheaper at a hotel that's next door, I say go for it. I really liked Carousel, personally. I know others who like the Tropicana but I can't say much since I haven't stayed there.

Have fun!

Brilliant post!

Some of them, like Camelot and Carousel are smooshed right up against each other, and some occupy the same streetfront space as other things, like Fairfield and McDonald's.

I second these - for hotels that are "next door" to one another, it can literally be the difference of 10-20 feet to the door of the next hotel. It's hard to picture it till you see it, but for most of the hotels that are right across the street, it's a difference of a minute or two longer walk.

The CCI and HOJO's are, however, a different story.
