Which Gift Do You Think Will Tickle or Thrill Your Child the Most?

Well. . I am sure that the "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. . .come inside come inside" Will get GREAT reviews for DD3. For DS7--please do NOT laugh!!! The mini fridge and Altanta Falcons recliner FOR HIS BEDROOM will definately be a hit!!!

Two year olds are so funny. Last year, DS sat on Santa's lap and when Santa asked what he wanted for Christmas he said, "I want a purple pleasant!". We weren't sure if the "pleasant" itself should be purple, or if it should be wrapped in purple paper . . . :confused3

Now, does anyone know where I can get a longsleeved bright orange tie dye shirt in boy's size 8 or 10? It can also be a combination of colors as long as orange is featured.

Check this one out from Land's End. It is mainly green, but orange is the next predominant color. It also comes in red and navy, but the green one has orange on it. It is long-sleeved and in boys' 8-10 sizes. Not sure if it will fit the bill for you!

DS4 is really into playmobil and imaginex toys. I cant wait till he opens all of his castles and dinosaurs.

Just a quick fyi...the imaginex castle is much nicer than the playmobil one. The playmobile one constantly falls apart and is so frustrating for my 5 year old. The imaginex one is a much better set.

My son told santa he wants transformers and christmas lights on our house. Christmas lights are being put up this weekend so he will be very happy! My MIL bought a large transformer and several small ones so thats covered. I dont have a big WOW gift at home yet, maybe a Wii if we can find one.

We already own about 5 Playmobil castles and I agree they are do not stay together well, but my son loves the building and arranging and finally destruction more than anything else. I know he would flip over legos but I couldnt handle stepping on those hard bricks and the mess involved. Playmobil is much easier to build with too. This will be our first year of Imaginex. It looks like the new Imaginex stuff is pretty much prebuilt and can not be taken apart. My son has been asking for it though so I guess we will wait and see how much play value it really has. One plus is that the Imaginex stuff is much cheaper than Playmobil.

More Baby Einstein DVDs. Come to think of it, I'm pretty happy about that too. I'm sick of watching the ones we have!

Funny, I was about to say the opposite. Our playmobil stuff DOES fall apart, but it's easily rebuilt (and that's half the fun). We bought the Imaginext castle a few years ago, and it was difficult to rebuild. In fact, it's still in a big box in the garage after being played with for a few months after Christmas. We don't want to get rid of it, but it's such a pain to rebuild. I bet they made some adjustments to the design since then.

My son got his BIG gift the beginning of this month. Santa called to tell him he's going to be really busy on xmas day and wondered if he could drop a present off early, of course my son agreed! He got to go with his daddy to see WWE (he loves them!). He had so much fun, he said he would be happy if that's the only thing he ever gets for xmas. Little does he know that I'm surprising him and his daddy with tickets on xmas day to go on December 28 here in town (the last time they went it was outta town) :cool1: Mommy's going this time though I want to see my sons face light up!

Big WOW gift for DD5: Nintendo DS Lite in Pink (altho she circles and initials every other thing she sees in catalogs and toy ads, so she's easy to please!)

Big WOW gift for DS7: ??????? (*HELP*)

I've already got several small-ish things, like movies and books, but when I ask him (as I have repeatedly for weeks and weeks) what he REALLY wants, he hems and haws and just names some of the smallish stuff. :rolleyes1

Any ideas????????

DS: NintendoDS. He's been asking for one & we've put him off but he won one in a contest so I'm wrapping it up for him along with a few other small things

DD: Probably the Junie B. Jones books she's going to get & I just bought her some English Roses jeans off of eBay which, being the little fashionista she is, she'll love.
