Which FP+ is harder to get now-SDD or FOP?

Just trying to plan days. Last year we planned AK for our last day because I knew I'd have the best chance of getting that FOP FP+ at 60+6.

So now with Toy Story Land, would you make your last day DHS to try for SDD or AK to try for FOP? I'd probably do the other park the day before so it would be 60+5.

I hate this either way because we used to traditionally save our last day for a repeat visit to MK. Oh well. We can probably hop back to MK that afternoon/evening either way and wrap up the week.

ETA: I just reread this post and realized how crazy it would sound to someone who does not speak in Disney abbreviations!

I feel so lucky coming from the U.K. and staying for two weeks, my FP day is today and my strategy was to go for my SDD fastpasses after day 7 as its mainly my fellow U.K. visitors who will be able to access them.
So I got my first FOP on day 3 and first SDD on day 8( subsequent FOP on day 7 and 9 and SDD on day 10 and 12)
Sorry I can’t really answer your question as I didn’t try SDD any earlier than day 8 but I guess you are right and should go for FOP on second to last day and SDD on last
PS not crazy at all we all speak Disney around here!

Based on my own experience of two upcoming trips, I would say FOP is still the tougher FP to get. We are a party of two. For a long weekend trip we are taking at the end of September, I was able to get SDD on the afternoon of our first park day (60+1) and the late morning of our third park day (60+3). The only day I was able to even see a FOP FP was for our third park day, and we are committed to HS for that morning (and leaving for home after lunch), so passed on it.

FOP. But you should have no problem with either on 60+5 and +6.

This was one of the questions I had also as our window opens next week.

Think FoP still tougher. We couldn't get either at 60 but after they added availability got FoP at 60 (originally 60+3 was first one avail for FoP). Think SDD was avail at 60+1 in comparison. Aug., party of 2, 8 days, both of looking at different dates ended up with 4 FoP, 2 7DMT, 1 SDD (dropped 2 since we'll be RD couple of times and been seeing the early wait times pretty short). (sort of just freaked out because checking these for you, I noticed my last day 7DMT FP was gone but on my wife's app).

We always do MK last day, like you mentioned... tough not to for us. So we have MK early, and HS in the afternoon (late EMH).

Also, seen/talked to CMs and recent goers who've had 20-45min last rides at FoP, entering at the last couple of minutes before park close. Posted time will be longer than actual; you see the whole queue, at night with the glow. We only RD - last time we did last ride it was 45min 8/2017 when it was near new.

I had read FoP was harder to get, so I put our first HS day at 60+3 and our first AK day at 60+4. We got FoP for noon, but were unable to get SDD.

I did FPs this week. I had SDD at 60+1 and FOP at 60+4 & 60+6. I got FOP both days but SDD was already gone. BUT the SDD day was on a Sunday and the FOP days were weekdays, and the SDD is on a holiday/3-day weekend. I kind of expected I wouldn't get SDD. And that's ok - riding SDD standby is MUCH more feasible (less hassle) than trying to ride FOP standby. The line won't back up quite as fast and the peak wait time won't get up as high. I'd put FOP later in my trip over SDD everytime!

Go for FoP. SDD is very easy to ride standby and FoP really needs the FP+ still.

We rode slinky at 10pm recently and only waited 35 minutes.

I just looked at the WDW Lines app right now. I think you will be fine with either at 60+3. Currently, SDD actually looks harder to get than FoP. But again, it looks like you can get either of you are making AK and HS 60+5 and 60+6, either order. In fact, I wouldn't let the FP hold you back on deciding which parks to do on what days. If the crowd calendar is better, consider 60+4 and 60+5, maybe even 60+3.
