Which floor level do you like at All Stars?

I am planning a trip with two other families who haven't been to Disney, but are on a tight budget. Anyway we are booked at ASSp and I requested the lower level, just so we won't have to walk our luggage up the stairs. But now I am worried about noise. I know when we stay at OKW, I usually request top floor so that we can't hear people walking above us. Anyone have any thoughts/preferences that they can share with me?

There are elevators at the all stars, so if bringing your luggage up the stairs is the only reason you wanted to stay on the lower level, you won't have to worry about it.

I prefer one of the upper floors myself, but I prefer upper at BCV as well for the same reason. I just don't like my room being on a walkway where anyone walks by/looks in. To me, on an upper level the only people that walk by your room are the people who are staying around you.

We have stayed in Music and Sports and always have been on the ground floor. We never noticed a noise problem. We were not facing the pool though - I would think that might be more of a noise problem.

We stay at the ASmo, upper level in the Mighty Ducks area facing the ASmu resort. it's a very quiet area and so we've requested it many trips running. It also leaves us the Mighty Ducks pool, laundry facilities close by...it is a bit of a walk to the main building, but we don't mind. In fact, we're close enough to the ASmu that sometimes we go over there for our morning coffee and get off there at night from the bus and just walk across the road to our room at the ASmo.
The elevators eliminate the need to carry anything up stairs. Invest in luggage with rollers and you're all set!!

We always get the 3rd floor. We prefer no one above us. We like being on the 3rd floor so we can see the whole courtyard, the view I think is better.

Thanks for the replies. I don't know why I thought there we not elevators (maybe I was thinking of OKW). That's a great idea about going to a different food court and bus stop if you aren't located near the one in your "area". Maybe I will change my request. Thanks.

We were on the 2nd floor at Movies, and didn't hear anyone above us at all. We did use the elevator some with the stroller, but if we didn't have the stroller, the stairs weren't bad.
