I currently have Le Cellier booked for lunch on our Epcot day. I checked recently and Teppan Edo is available. We do Hibachi all the time at home...our son LOVES it. We have never been to either restaurant in Epcot. Which do you think is better for a toddler????

Hummmm...interesting. Thanks for the review. Our Hibachi grill here at home is AMAZING...I mean super amazing, so that is why I originally was hesitant to book Teppan Edo!!

With A toddler, I would think that the Garden Grill over in the Lands would be a must do. They have Characters that will will come around and visit.

If you do hibachi all the time stick with Le Cellier. Most people who have a good hibachi restaurant that they frequent end up disappointed with Teppan Edo. The chefs are entertaining and the food is good, but it isn't the same experience as a "real world" hibachi grill - no fire element to the show, no fried rice, soup & salad are an upcharge rather than included in the meal. My kids love it but we only get hibachi on vacation since there isn't one locally, and with months between experiences none of us are really comparing one to another.

I'd stick with Le Cellier as well. When my kids were toddlers (they aren't all that much older now at 4, 6 and 8), they loved Rose and Crown because we would eat outside overlooking the water and the Garden Grill. Finally took them to Le Cellier a few weeks ago and they had fun there as well!

I'm scared to bring our toddler to Le Cellier... it's VERY tight in there. I can imagine that he would have sticky hands on the people all around us.

We've been before and there are kids. It's kid friendly but.... it's a question of your comfort level with your kids there. The food wasn't anything to rave about and it doesn't have a draw for the kids. No characters, no entertainment, no music... just a restaurant.

We found Teppan Edo to be a a huge hit with our kids. They did the knife and fire stuff. The only down side was that they didn't do fried rice. We have another trip booked and that is on our list again.

I'd look at: Garden Grill, San Angels, Biergarten, Coral Reef or stick with Teppan Edo.... all these have a draw for the kids to entertain and make your eating easier.
