I posted this poll over on the Adult/Solo board, but it's not getting much attention, so I'm going to call on the resort board now. I need everyone's help!!! A bunch of my college friends and I are thinking about doing a Disney World trip here in the next few years as sort of a mini reunion. So of course I have to start that daydreaming/planning RIGHT NOW! I've only stayed in a moderate, but I think by the time this trip happens we'll beable to afford a deluxe. I like the Epcot area because it's in the middle of all the action. So here's my question to all of you. Which of the Epcot area resorts would be best for a group of about 10 adults in their late 20s and why? And please do tell me why, I need all the info. I can get. Thanks!!!

I chose BC! It is less "stuffy" than the others! Also, the pool (SAB) is unbelievable!

I chose YC because not all rooms at BC have balcony's which are great at night after dinner to sit on with a glass of wine or diring of some sort and watch the Illuminations Fireworks from. The rooms have a great Nautical decor and there also is a great Restraunt there which is my absolute fav. Yachtmans Steakhouse. The best Filet Minon in Disney. Then you all could stroll over to the Board walk one night and go to the Atlantic Dance Hall and Dance your hearts out or go to Jelly Rolls and listen to the Dualling Pianos. The Boardwalk is a beautiful place to take a stroll however too noisey for me to stay there overnight. The Yacht Club is right where I like to be. Oh and the pool is HEAVEN especially when the waitress comes over to me and says another Pina Colado Miss. :teeth: Thats the life. :teeth:

Just read that you are all in your late 20's so other things that can be done is you all could rent the watermice boats from the Yacht club and make your own darn water show. LOL!!!
There is a cigar bar at the Yacht Club as well for any cigar lovers.
Also over at the Board walk you could rent those surrey bikes, there is one that fits 8 people and you all could try to make it around the board walk on that thing. Up and down those hills. How I wish I would be able to view this one :teeth:
The Yacht Club also is a hotel that lots of celebrites stay at. I have seen quite a few with all my visits there. I think that everyone would might think that they would stay at the GF however they think wrong. If you are to go in the beginning of Nov. that is when it is Soap Opera weekend and for the past 2 years most of the ABC soap opera actors/actresses have stayed here. At this time as well Epcot is has its Wine and Food Festival and you guys would love this. You would get to try wine and food from every single country. You will come out of that place rocking. I have done this and boy oh boy was it fun!!!!;) I think that the Yacht Club would be perfect for you all. Its the place to be with all the fun all around however when its time to sleep you get peace and quiet with a spectaclar view..

I voted for the Beach Club because of SAB I think you can party all night then relax and regroup by the pool the morning after.:p

Have fun..

I voted for BWI because you're right there at the boardwalk. Everything you'd want is right outside your room and it's got a great seaside atmosphere. I agree that the YC/BC have a great pool, but unless you're planning on using it a lot, I like the BWI atmosphere better.

I replied on your other thread, but will copy it here as well.

Rather than vote, I'll post an alternate suggestion. Why not rent points from a Disney Vacation Club member and stay in a couple of nice, big villas at the Boardwalk Villas or Beach Club Villas? You could rent two two-bedroom villas, or split it up even more if you like. Then you'd have two bathrooms, a kitchen and a washer/dryer in each unit, plus plenty of room to get together in one if you wanted.

Check out the DVC rent/trade board here if you're interested. There's an FAQ at the top of the page.

Definitely BWI. It's the closest to the ESPN Club! ;) Also Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance.

The Swan would be my second choice.

The YC/BC are great, but more kids and families are there.
