Which DVC Resort is the Most Popular during the Christmas Season?

kem330, good point. The boat ride from WLV can get pretty chilly around the December months. Both resorts have beautiful Christmas themeing, with gingerbread houses and chocolate merry-go-rounds. But we have found accessibility becomes especially important with the additional crowds, BCV and BWV too have an advantage. It's great to be able to retreat to the more calm Crecent Lake area for a breather. I don't think anyone could be disspointed in the Chrismas decoration in that area. Even the Dolphin does it up very well, we enjoyed thier huge tree.

Just to expand on the "Special Seasons List" it was set up as a lottery type system. The concern was that some members would continually book Christmas week effectively shutting other members out. They wanted to make it as fair as possible.

I know that when I got "the call" 14 months prior to our '95 trip, I felt like I won the Golden Ticket!

(And Colleen, they used to leave little presents in our room in the early days.)
