Which DVC (if any) would offer 2 beds (full or queen size) in either a studio or a 1 bedroom? We were just at Disney last week & used a friend's points. We had a 2 bedroom/2 bath at SSR. It was great & almost too big for us, but my kids didn't want to sleep waaaaaay on the other side of the "condo" as I referred to it. So we all ended up playing musical beds each night. :headache:

My friend may have more points for us to use this summer (but not too many), so was hoping to rent something smaller so that the points will go farther....but I keep reading how uncomfortable the sofa sleepers are. Thus, I'd be interested in a room with 2 beds (like a regular hotel room), only hopefully also a little kitchenette for the convenience of a fridge & micro.

Does such a thing exist in a DVC?

Thanks so much!

All DVC 1 bedrooms have a king bed in the master and a queen sofabed in the living room. BLT, AKV (except value) also have a foldout chair in the living room. BLT and AKV Kidani have a second bathroom in a 1 bedroom.

OKW is the only DVC resort at WDW with 2(queen) beds in the studios. They do have the frig and microwave. They are also the largest of the on site DVC studios.

We stayed in a Studio at SSR this past August and it had two beds. Not sure if they were Queen or Full, can't remember. So that's another option.

all DVC studios (other than OKW) have one queen bed and one fullsized pullout sofabed.

You know, now that you say that, you are absolutely correct and I am absolutely wrong! :rotfl: It was a sofa bed. My bad. :rolleyes1 Disregard my totally wrong information first post! :dance3:

Thanks so much for all the responses! So it sounds like our best fit would be OKW then. I will look into seeing if my friend can reserve that for us.

Has anyone stayed there yet & is there anything you can tell me about it, whether good or bad or just an interesting fact? I'm going to really miss that gorgeous 2 bed/2 bath at SSR but right now our kids make all the rules! :confused3

OKW is the only studio that has two queen beds. The 1 bedroom villas at all DVC resorts will have 1 king bed in the master bedroom and 1 queen pull out in the living rooms.

Do any of the dedicated studios at BWV, BCV, VWL have two beds? I know that a dedicated 2 BR has two beds in the 2nd BR (studio portion) so it would seem logical for all dedicated villas of a similar size to have two beds.

No, none of the dedicated Studios at any DVC resort have 2 beds. OKW is the only DVC resort with 2 (queen) beds in all studios and it does not have any dedicated studios. All DVC resorts except BWV have 2BR villas with 2 queen beds in the 2nd BR. BCV has a few dedicated 2BRs with double beds in the 2nd BR in addition to others with 2 queens.

Except for OKW, all DVC studios have a queen bed and sleep sofa whether dedicated or lock-off.

The sleeper sofa in the studio is double sized. The bed is queen sized. Except for OKW which has two queen sized beds. The studios sleep four plus one under the age of three.

For non WDW DVC, the Inn rooms at VB also have 2 queens and the same kitchen as a studio.

Dean,
I was aware of VB Inn rooms having two "actual" beds---it's why we always book these rooms vs the studios. But do you know about the HHI rooms that are in the main lodge/building area ? We stayed for the first time at HHI this past Aug, but had a regular studio with the pullout. Thanks
Maria

The studios at HHI have a sofa bed and queen bed.

My understanding is that there are no inn rooms at HH with 2 regular beds in a studio.

I'm sure most people posting were aware of the VB situation but was afraid that others reading might not be and make assumptions that were not accurate. The other thing about VB is there are a few Inn rooms that are larger and have more sleeping capacity, they tend to be corner rooms.
