which downtown disney hotel would you choose and why?

Thinking of staying in DTD, but dont know which hotel to choose. We are a family of 2 adults and an 8 year old girl, so please give me your personal favorites and why you like them.

I don't know if I can be much help - I've only stayed in the CY in DTD (which I know is now a HI). I enjoyed the location alot. I know that there is a Doubletree hotel there - which I like (as hotel chain) --- it's an all suite property, so there's more room. It also means that 8yo can go to sleep in the bedroom, and you can watch TV or do anything else in the living room without worrying about waking her up

They also have a fridge and microwave, that can help with $.

Best thing, tho (teehee...lol) are their warm cookies that they give to you upon checkin!!
