Which double jogging stroller: MBUD or Baby Jogger?

DH and I are in the market for a double jogging stroller....we've narrowed it down to the Mountain Buggy Urban Double or the Baby Jogger City Series. Does anyone have an opinon on which is best? It will be for twins.

There isn't a "best" just a personal preference between those two. IMO, MBUD pushes better....it has the "one finger push". The BJ has taller seatbacks and individual canopies.

The above poster gave the exact 2 reasons why we chose the Baby Jogger. Our twins are older than yours, so we needed taller seatbacks and my twins also like to each control their own canopies. Therefore, the Baby Jogger was the right choice for us. I do like the Mountain Buggy but I thought it was a bit too small for my twins at this age. With yours being so young, it may be perfect for you. Hopefully there are some other people who have tried one or both of these joggers so you can get some more input.

We went with a Bob, but Baby Jogger would have been our next choice.

When our daughter was born, our son was 20 months old. We went with the MBUD because we wanted a stroller that would accomodate the Graco carseat and the MBUD had an attachment that would do that.

Now they are 3 and 19 months and we still love the MBUD. They both seem to like it and seriously, like the poster mentioned above, it pushes like a dream! Also, we live in suburban NJ and spend a lot of time at malls (hey - that's what we do in New Jersey ) and it really works fine there too. Some stores have displays that are too close together, but I can get through any door and maneuver pretty well otherwise.

That's just my 2 cents. I am sure you can't go wrong with either one!

Are you going to actually be RUNNING with it? Or, is it for "running errands"?

If you will really be running, go with the Baby Jogger, although I can suggest a superior one...look a the Dreamer Design Ditto Lite. I have one and it, in my opinion, has much more comfort for the kids and better canopies and MORE STORAGE, and it's cheaper than the Baby Joggers...

I have no opinion on the Baby Jogger, but I loved my MBUD!! It turns so easily, fits easily through standard doorframes, and fit my two kids easily. My older one still occasionally rode in it when she was 5.

I never use it anymore. I miss having two little ones in a stroller.

I loooove my Baby Jogger. The high seatbacks, great push, excellent canopies, and super easy fold are what sold me. I also have a Mountain Buggy (Single) and like the storage and ease of push, but the Baby Jogger is my favorite. The fold alone would sell me on it.

I have 3.5 yr old twins and we have had our MBUD since my girls were born....and we still use it for our long walks & running. LOVE IT.
