Which do you like better

Not to be a smart-aleck, but I like the Unofficial Guide the best! That's not exactly what you asked, but I think it's far superior to the Passporter.

I like Tour Guide Mike a lot, and plan to renew my membership this week:). I bought a Passporter last year, and I liked it, but I won't be buying a new one this year. The Passporter park maps are great, and mine are still in good shape for our 2008 trip.

Mike's best park days and other touring advice worked well for us this past August. I also enjoyed reading all the articles on the site, and the message boards are a friendly place.

I think everyone going to WDW needs one Passporter. It has great maps, all the phone numbers in one place, and pockets to store your stuff. I like the deluxe so you can add/remove pages and has a pen holder and credit card/ticket pockets in the front cover. I find it really handy to have my Disney Visa in there along with all my phone #s when I book a trip.

TGM is great for actual park touring. His least crowded park charts are worth the price of admission. :thumbsup2 Great practical advice too.

I agree that the UOG is good, but not for a newbie. There is a lot of tongue in cheek stuff in there that I enjoy but I think if you didn't get the jokes you might take them seriously. Especially some of the reader comments and advice. But it is very entertaining reading for a guidebook.

I think you need the first two for certain.

Passporter is my #1 planning tool for a trip to WDW. I too have the deluxe and like that I can removed any sections I don't need before I take my book on vacation!

I have the Unofficial Guide as well and while it does have a good bit of information, I don't think it is anywhere near as user friendly as the Passporter is and is often not complete w/ their information (I have 2/3 of a page of corrections that I'm pulling together to send to them!). I also find the UG to be very "worst case scenerio" with most things WDW related. Very scary for a WDW veteran never mind a 1st time visitor!

I've never done TGM so I can't comment on that. We always travel during the slower times so I've never felt we needed TGM.

Both!

I love TGM for planning and always bring my Passporter with me to WDW.

i know im not the op

but we are only going to be there for 2 day for ak and epcot do you think i need any of them ?
