Which DL Resort?

Hi,
We are seriously thinking of a trip to DL next year, and while having been to WDW several times, we have no idea of where to stay at DL.

I'm thinking of the Grand Calif. or DL Hotel.

Is convenience to the parks an issue with either of these?

Also, would 4 days be enough to do DL and Calif. Adventure?

Thanks,
Mark

We just got back from staying at the Grand Californian and have stayed at the Disneyland Hotel and Paradise Pier hotel as well as many of the WDW hotels. The Grand Californian is beautiful and on par with the WDW deluxe Hotels (though the rooms are bit small) and is more convenient to Disneyland And the California Adventure than any of the WDW hotels.
The Disneyland Hotel is not themed like the WDW hotels but is still a great hotel and the rooms are as big if not bigger than the rooms at the Grand Floridina. Convenience is on Par with the Contemporary or the Beach Club.
Paradise Pier Hotel is decent but not spectacular though the Views of DCA on the "theme park view" side are excellent.
