Which Disney song/music brings tears to your eyes?

"You'll Be In My Heart" from Tarzan, I was just going through divorce, fighting for custody and, trying to make my DD understand that even though I couldn't be there all the time anymore that she would, of course, always be in my heart. I took my DD to WDW for the 1st time, she was only 3 and we were at the Tarzan show in AK and they started playing this song and I just lost it. It means so much to the both of us and has been our song ever since if you ever get a chance listen closely to the words it is a very strong song about the bond between a parent and a child, it gets me every time.
I was in Orlando last Nov for an Electronics show at CS convention center, this was the 1st time out of about 30 trips since 2000, that I had been to WDW without my DD and I was miserable. After the 1st night I went to DTD and was walking around trying to enjoy the sites when they started playing "You'll Be In My Heart" and I had to stop and call my DD because it made me miss her even more and I was crying like a baby.
This song will always be our song, good news is now that she is 12 yo she can decide which parent she wants to be with and we are going to court so she can be with her DDad, I am soooo excited!!
There's always an happy ending to a Disney story!!
Thanks for letting me share!!

Too many to count!

So I am the worlds biggest cynic and I am pretty sarcastic...except when it comes to Disney and WDW. No where else on earth do I feel so able to just, if you'll pardon the pun, believe.

I keep tissues with me at the parks because of the spontaneous tears. Biggest tears come with, in no particular order:

1. Illuminations, especially during "We Go On"....doubly so with the Holiday tag of "Let There Be Peace on Earth"

2. "Wishes"...does anyone not get teary during "Wishes"? I have the music in my car and my kids know I will be crying at the line

"Make a wish!
(Wishes!) Dream a dream!
(Wishes!) Cross your heart!
And your wish...will...come...true!"

(Truth: I'm crying just typing those lines.)

3. The music inside and outside Spaceship Earth. I am very curious and excited about the new soundtrack. Will it make me tear up?

Any song from "Little Mermaid".. it's been my favorite movie since I was a kid, and it makes me cry to hear any of the songs. :goodvibes

Also, pretty much the entire music of Mickey's PhilharMagic, haha. My fiance kept nudging me and telling me to "quit it" on our last trip because I sniffled through the whole thing.

ETA: Add another one to the list. SpectroMagic is playing on DIS Radio and I'm tearing up at work, haha.

Wishes... When She Loved Me from Toy Story 2... The music played at the end of Monsters Inc when Sulley brings Boo back to her bedroom, gets me everytime! :sad1:

When you Wish Upon a Star......

It's what my husband and I walked out to at our wedding. I actually think thats the only time I've heard the song and not cried, I was grining from ear to ear!

But my big weeper is You'll be in my Heart from Tarzan. I had a miscarriage after trying for a long time to get pregnant and for some reason I listened to the Tarzan CD as comfort. I'm weepy just thinking of it.

I got comfort and tears in that song too, for the same reason. Ahh, I'm getting teary now! :littleangel:

"When You Wish Upon A Star" was our wedding song 22 years ago. Whenever we are at WDW we have a tradition that started on our Honeymoon -- if we hear the song we have to kiss!!! Corny, but fun because it is played often. And yes, I get a tear in my eye!

Christmas Illuminations.....especially when the "countries" say "Peace on Earth" in their language....Then again at the end with the big crescendo "LET THERE BE PEACE ON EARTH!" Ooo...I'm misting up right now as I type!!!

Also the portion in Wishes where Peter Pan says "I wish we never had to grow up! Off to Neverland!" Which basically sums up how we feel when we set out for a trip to WDW!!!

Try EPCOT at Christmas. Children sing "Let There Be Peace on Earth". I'm a blubbering idiot.

Wishes

And in Philharmagic when "We Can Fly" begins... Peter Pan sums up Disney to me... I'm a kid again! Then I tear up again when "A Whole New World" starts. (I used to sing that to my kids when they were babies!)

Hey! Does Sirius Radio have a station like this Kingdom Trips on Live365.com? We subscribe to Sirius and have never heard of Live 365. Hoping they have something Disney other than the tween oriented RadioDisney.

Great question!!!

I have to say that Wishes gets me every time. I haven't cried yet but I tell my DW and DS that I am having an "e-moment" - emotional moment. Other than that, the Aladdin song in Mickey's Philharmagic sends chills down my spine.

Thanks.

1. Do You Remember? by Brian McKnight
2. Little Wonders by Rob Thomas
3. You'll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins

There's not a day that goes by in WDW that I'm not crying! :lmao:

"When you wish upon a star" - all time favorite and a definite cryer

"You'll be in my heart" - what parent wouldn't cry with that one?

"Tapestry of Nations" - I can't believe so many other people remember this music/parade -wish they'd bring it back. (they play the music when you're leaving Epcot after Illuminations)

"Wishes" - especially "starlight, starbright...first star I see tonight......
and "see what a little wishing can do?" - I always have a red puffy face when getting on the monorail!!

Also, it's not exactly music but .....the video they show you on Magical Express on the way back to the airport (with Mickey and friends waving goodby). My son and I just sit there and cry on the bus!!

Which song from a Disney movie, ride, show or firework event gets you all teary?
Not teary, but definitely emotional/goose-pimply when I hear anything from Epcot. My favorite was Tomorrow's Child from the original Spaceship Earth ride. :worship:

A lot of Disney songs make me cry...

The Big one is "Golden Dreams" (American Adventure)

Baby Mine is when I watch the actual movie, not much just hearing the song.

Circle of Life, Lion King gets me too, but more the part at the very end just before the credits when it builds up.

There a lot more, I can't think of them all.

(it doesn't take much to make me cry ! LOL)

The song from the movie Dumbo- Baby of mine...that's the title right?? I have ALWAYS stopped what I am doing and gone over and held my DD on my lap--she is now 9!! Tears! I would have to think of which one for DS--I don't think that it is a Disney one-probably the one with Tim McGraw and Nelly. But favorite Disney would be Dumbo movie

Mine would have to be "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" from Cinderella. I always cry when I hear it. When they play a small clip of it in the Dream show in front of the castle I cried.

The first time I saw the Lion King trailer (it was partly finished animation and partly drawings) with Circle of Life and still get a tear everytime.

But my big weeper is You'll be in my Heart from Tarzan. I had a miscarriage after trying for a long time to get pregnant and for some reason I listened to the Tarzan CD as comfort. I'm weepy just thinking of it.

Baby Mine gets me too.

okay, now I'm sobbing, before I was just misty-eyed reading the responses, but that song gets me every time, for the same reason. I had a miscarriage in June 99, right when that song was popular, and whenever I hear it, I think about my little baby, in my heart, always.
