Which deal better? AoA or 2 rooms at POR with FD?

I'm wondering what would be e better option for my family....we ae hoping to go November 2013 IF free dining is offered. My kids will be 10,10,10 and 3. I would think AoA would be cheaper...but I would have to pay the upgrade to regular dining for 5 adults and one child....where as if I got two rooms at POR...I wouldn't have to pay the upgrade..hmmm...thoughts?

1 AoA suite would be cheaper. 2 value rooms would be cheaper than 1 suite if you went that way but 2 moderate rooms would be slightly more. I think 2 rooms would be worth it though and the cost is probably pretty close. Try pricing it out for this year with the discount and see how off the prices are

Two rooms, plus two bathrooms would be much more convenient for a family of 6. I would choose POR. Have a great vacation whatever you choose.

The suites have been included in free dining, just not the standard Little Mermaid rooms.

Even with the upgrade, our suite is a bit cheaper than 2 rooms at POR for Dec 2012. We considered this option too. A little bit of the problem is that they offered FD for POR garden rooms but not regular, so with that little upgrade, POR was a little more.

I think we would have picked AoA anyway though just because of the zero entry pool (great for your 3yo) with underwater audio and my 3 yo is still young enough to be in awe of the giant characters. Also, we didn't need 4 beds, so more empty space to move around in sounded more tempting to us. Good luck.

AoA family suites DO have 2 bathrooms (master has huge shower) as well as the small fridge (now included in all Disney resorts) plus a microwave & coffeemaker, in addition to the queen bed in a separate room and the sofa & murphy double beds in the living/dining rooms and flat screen TV in both bedroom and livingroom. This is a really great rooming option for families with up to 4 younger children. As for the cost of dining upgrade I believe it is around $16 pp adult and less than $2 for child??? Not really all that much.
