Is there common days every week to avoid certain parks? I know there is calendars released somewhere which parks to visit which days. But my date is really far away and I'm trying to work out some off site stuff. I assume Mk is a no go on weekends. Let me know what other parks are heavy certain days.
Thanks.

November. Not really a must know right now I'm just an obsessive planner so I figured I would see what people recommend.

Historically, it's always been a good idea to avoid Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Mondays.

And unless you are purposefully going to be utilizing Extra Magic Hours (EMH), it is best to avoid these Parks during EMH days.

Conversely, best to go to a Park after EMH evening, unless it's MK on Saturday and/or Monday.

It does get confusing if you are looking for hard'n'fast rules.

Best advice is to look at November, 2014 calendar at EasyWDW.com. Josh gives his 'Best' & 'Avoid' Park advice with explanations. It's worked well for my own planning obsession.

I'll just wait for Josh's site to have it. He will have Nov/December up well before we can make our ADR's right?

In November, avoid dates without a Christmas party at MK. Since the park is open later, it's more crowded all day long. Party dates tend to be less crowded during the day because of the early close.

Yeah, we definitely saw/felt the difference when we went to the MK for the Halloween Party. We got in at 4:00 and went straight to Splash Mountain. 25 min. wait on a hot afternoon! On every non-party day, the wait was around 50 minutes.

November should be up mid-April and December should be up mid-May.

The only problem though is if you want to see the MSEP and Wishes, you'll have to go on a non-party day; Josh usually recommends Wednesdays as good non-party days to go.

We are going to attend MVMCP. We are not big firework people. We will be there 9 days starting NOV 30 2015 and as long as we catch one parade with the frozen crew and santa that will be plenty for my family. I just wanted to get it all on paper (Adr's and which park which days) but clearly i need to relax and Waite for Josh's site to be up.
Is there some sort of calculator you can punch in your arrival day it shows the date you can make your ADR's and fast passes?

You can park hop and show up in late aft./evening to catch the parade. They put up the parade ropes 45 min. in advance.

Just to add be wary of floating holidays like Thanksgiving that can move from week to week from year to year.

See I've been told both ways on this.

A) Christmas party days are bad because people are going for the Christmas party and the parks are open later.

but..

B) Christmas party days are good because people not going to the Christmas party will avoid these days since to them, they are only open till 7pm.

And on the flipside, you could say...

A) go on a non-party day because you get to be there all day

But...

B) that is a pretty obvious thing, and anyone picking a day will pick the non-party day because they can stay there all day.

I've read it both ways.

For me, with 3 MK days, I'm currently leaning toward one "all-day-day". And then two days when the park will close at 7. Doing this mainly because we probly wouldn't stay much past 7 anyways, so competing w everyone else who wants to be there till 10 seems pointless.

Anyways... Thoughts on which is really better?

The touring advice websites say that the crowds are lower on Party days, and they were very accurate about that during our trip. As I mentioned in post #8, we saw the difference immediately. And when we went to the MK on non-party days, for the parade, the park was packed.
