We are planning to go for 2 days at the start of our trip or end. We would prefer to go at the end of our trip and it is cheaper but I’m just concerned it won’t be less busy. Our choices are either Thursday & Friday(2/13 & 2/14) or Tuesday & Wednesday (2/18 & 2/19). Which will be less busy? TIA

I have been the Thursday before Presidents' Day weekend in 2017 and 2019 and have thought the crowds were great. I even thought the crowds were great on Friday morning before Presidents' Day. By Friday afternoon, though, you could feel the weekend crowd starting to arrive. As for Tuesday 2/18 and Wednesday 2/19, I think I read on one of these threads that some schools have off that week, but I have no personal experience. Good luck deciding!

Thank you! We have the week after President’s Day off. We’re from Upstate NY, and most schools in NY state have that week off as well, but many will wait for the April break for a true vacation.

Most of the NE has off presidents week and are eager to go where it’s warm.
