Which days in December?

It has been a dream of mine to travel to Disney during the Christmas holidays to see the Obsborne light show. With the rumors of it being dismantled due to the expansion, the hubby has given me the thumbs up to plan a long weekend trip down.

I've never traveled in December and was hoping some experienced travelers could provide me some guidance. Our two choices are:

12/2-12/6
Or
12/9-12/13

I saw that a show or something is being recorded on 12/8-12/9.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

The Christmas parade should be taped on 12/4-12/5, with 12/6 being used as a back-up day. Where did you see 12/8-12/9?

Oh! I thought I read tha online. Is it usually more crowded that week?
