which days for Disneyland and Legoland

I'm planning a weekend trip to Disneyland this July (arriving Thur nite and leaving Monday morning). Going to be staying at the GCH!!! We plan to do a day trip to Legoland and looking for advise if there are better days to plan for Disney and Legoland. I know it will be crowd as it is the weekend but any better days for either park? Sounds like this drive is going to be long too. Thanks.

For my family, I would do Friday at Disneyland/DCA, Saturday at Legoland, and Sunday at Disneyland/DCA. We would have to begin and end with Disney, plus Saturday is usually the most crowded at the resort, so you would be at Legoland that day! Have fun!
