help me here....going week before easter....arriving dlh on saturday afternoon..plan to go to dca that nite.....now here is the question.........

we want to go to universal one day...i am going to spend the extra and get the front of the line passes(is it worth it if you have purchased them before?) for the day we go....i hear that DL/DCA biggest days are saturday and sunday.......so should we go to universal on Sunday or MOnday?

i told my wife i really wanted to go to the studios on monday b/c wanted to do DL on sunday (just couldn't wait) but i wonder if with spring break going on will the crowds still decrease on monday at DL..

your opinion and thanks...

p.s. how long is the drive to universal

I would suggest going to Universal on Sunday if the park hours are longer, you have a better chance of seeing more things in your one day. We didn't get the front of the line passes but started early & we were able do most of it. We paid for priority parking well worth it. Travel time depending on traffic is about 30-45 minutes from DL.LOL

I was going to post the same question. We want to do one day at USH on our upcoming trip and were leaning toward Sunday. I may splurge and get the front of the line passes though. I'd also like to hear from anyone that had used FOTL passes before. Thanks.

My family and I purchased the Front of the Line passes and was sooooooooooooo glad we did. Even off season there are alot of tour buses. Plus with the FotL pass you get a free Park photo they have taken free ($15.00 value) and this is with each pass. We had 4 in our party and got 4 free studio photos!!! Another thing that is nice you don't have to worry about what time you have to be at a ride or attraction, the FotL Pass is good all time any time you want. They do limit you on how many times you can use the pass on a ride but there is so much to do it wasn't a problem for us.

Trafiic will be horrid if you try to go to universal during the work week--sunday would be your best bet! there used to be a shuttlle from disneyland to universal that was free if you had your tickets already--you might want to check with universal and see if they still offer that service--a great deal!

Sounds like that is what I'm going to do. The extra money will be well spent.

AirportBus does the same thing. The ride is free if you buy the tickets from them. Here's a couple of links if anyone is interested. I'm going to give them a call later in the week and see if they sell FOTL tickets or if I have to get them from Universal.
