Which Day Of The Week for MNSSHP?

Is there a day of the week that's usually less busy for MNSSHP? We'll be there from 9/7-9/21 and plan on using our park tickets only on weekdays, so it would be great to get some extra time in the parks by doing MNSSHP on a Sunday.. but I'm wondering if Sunday would be busier than on a Tuesday.

Doesn't really matter *that* much, I'm just curious.

Thanks!

Im curious about this too. I want to go on whatever night would be the least busy.

Disney gives discounts to annual pass holders and Disney Vacation Club owners several times during the Halloween parties and Christmas parties. Usually any night that has a discount will be crowded. Also I've heard Friday nights are crowded because locals are more likely to attend.

I would say Sunday....first it's a great way to get extra park time in without paying more as they usually let you in around 4pm for MNSSHP. Also if you have kids it will be nice to be able to relax a bit during the day on Sunday (maybe sleep in as it will be a late night) and have time to get in your costumes before the party. I found, especially with kids, spending a morning in the park then going back to resort to change into costume then going back to party can be tiring and personally I prefer not to wear my costume all day in the park.

As far as crowds...I don't know. I'm no expert, but I would think locals won't come on a Sunday night because the next day is work and school and many people tend to arrive and/or leave on Saturdays and Sundays so maybe won't be that bad crowd wise...but it's hard to tell. Also if F&W is starting that weekend (not sure) that may divert crowds from MNSSHP to F&W because it's first weekend.

Just pick the day that works best with your schedule. Either day it will be great..I just love MNSSHP - it's one of our favorite Disney things to do!

From what I read Tuesday is less busy than Sunday because most people arrive on Saturday and spend their first full day at Magic Kingdom and go to the party that night (if they are doing a party.) But it should still be we less crowded than the weekend.

I've done 4 MNSSHPs, one on a Sunday and 3 on a Tuesday. I can only speak from my experience but Tuesday definitely had lighter crowds than Sunday. I've also done the MVMCP on a Tuesday and Friday of the same week and Tuesday had about 1/4th of the people that the Friday one had.

Either Tuesday or Sunday. Anything that locals would not attend because of school and work the next day.

I've done lots of Christmas parties, I think 11. I really saw no difference between Tuesday and Sunday crowds.

Do pay attention to discount nights, like AP, DVC and castmember discount nights. If there is a discount available on one of your nights but not the other, choose the non-discounted night. The discounts really do move crowds.
