My schedule got completely flipped upside down so I have to ask one more time.

June 28 thru July 2 (5 days)

or

September 23 thru 26 (4 days) ?

Crowd wise September would be better.
With that there are a few trade off.
You have 4 days for those dates.
Park hours will be shorter.
Number of Refurbishments will be greater

I'd go with the five days.
Gives you more days in the parks. Longer park hours.
Plus less ride will be down for refurbishments on your June/July dates.

Since you asked about crowds specifically, I would definitely choose September if I were you. During off-season, my family is able to see and do everything in 3 days, so 4 days should work really well. :goodvibes

Our family's last two trips to D-Land were those same weeks. July was busy and hot but we were still able to do lots and had a great time. However we loved our September trip a few years ago. It wasn't as hot, crowds didn't seem bad and I only remember there being 1-2 major refurbishments - Thunder Mountain being one of them, and it had been closed for most of that year. Plus Disneyland would be in Halloween mode, which is great. You would likely be there during a Halloween Party too if you are interested in that. They are SOOOO much fun!
